Business Definition for: Retail Banking
- services provided by commercial banks to individuals (as opposed to business customers) that include current accounts, deposit and savings accounts, as well as credit cards, mortgages, and investments. In the United Kingdom, although this service was traditionally provided by high street banks, separate organizations, albeit offshoots of established financial institutions, are now providing Internet and telephone banking services.
