Business Definition for: Systems Method
- a widely-used group of methodologies which explore the nature of complex business situations by mapping activities in a model. The systems method can be applied to systems that are either hard systems, where precise objectives are expressed in mathematical terms, or soft systems, where a human factor is involved and situations often do not involve such precise objectives. A variety of systems approaches are available including operational research, systems analysis, and systems dynamics.
